GLED has developed multi-purpose “tent making” projects to accomplish the following:

  • Provide self support for indigenous church leaders through GLED programs.
  • Provide a means and reason to travel into villages to install and train villagers on new life saving and enrichment technologies.

Business Development combined with Humanitarian Programs

GLED is working on the provision of a variety of products which save lives as well as improve health and living conditions.  Evangelists are paid to deliver, install, train and follow-up to ensure the villagers are properly using the products.  GLED is also working on entrepreneurial and business plan development training programs to assist the local leaders in the development of local businesses.

Micro-Business Loans

GLED is in process of negotiating with NGOs to provide micro loans to leaders developing business plans.  The loans will provide the necesary funding to launch their business initiatives.
