Dear Partner in Ministry,
The November Mission trip was a great success! We were able to finalize the establishment of our organization in Mexico (Esperanza Para el Mundo (EPEM) without any difficulty. We also had an opportunity to speak in depth with our top indigenous leaders about the implementation of the GLED humanitarian programs and Church multiplication. One of our goals for these people groups is to establish 700 Indigenous Churches; this is not easy to accomplish, Spiritually we seek God in all we do, pragmatically it also requires that we constantly critique our methodology and ardently work on removing barriers and developing bridges towards building relationships and ministry opportunities in remote communities.
We had a setback regarding the acquisition of our FM3 visas (Mexican work visas), it appears that the requisites that were given us by the Mexican Consulate in Dallas did not match the ones at the immigration office in Chiapas. We will have to begin and end the process in San Cristobal de Las Casas. Hopefully by the end of March 2009 we will have our visas.
Our support is coming along slowly so please remember to pray for us, that the Lord would work on the hearts of those that are to be our partners in Ministry, pray also for our visas to go through without delay, for Church multiplication to occur, pray for the lost and for a great harvest in 2009.
It is almost Christmas and our hearts are filled with joy as we remember the wonderful gift we have in Christ Jesus. He is the essence of all we purpose and do. May God richly bless you and yours with the knowledge of His Son and a life centered on Him.
Sergio & Beth
